Marine Corps Supply Logistics Systems Analyst

The job is multi-faceted with a primary role to serve as subject matter expert (SME) and onsite lead for the Financial and Audit Readiness (FIAR) Installation Support Team as they oversee the implementation of Marine Corps Installations Command (MCICOM) Garrison Property (GP) & Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME) Asset Management Policy, to include the execution of corrective action plans (CAP). The Supply/Defense Property Accounting System (DPAS) (Installation Support) SME will work with the DPAS/Supply SME (MCICOM HQ) to prepare and coordinate the activities of the Installation Support Teams as they help MCICOM installations achieve and sustain audit readiness. The teams will assist with updating DPAS accounts, tagging equipment with unique item identification (UII) labels, writing Standard Operating Procedures (SOPs) and training on newly implemented policy and business processes. The SME will assist with other FIAR-related tasks as required.

Responsibilities:
Assist with implementation of MCICOM GP & GME Asset Management Policy, to include the execution of corrective action plans
Assist with CAP validation testing
Assist with updating/correcting DPAS records
Assist with tagging assets with UII labels
Assist with writing regional/installation-level SOPs
Conduct training on newly implemented policy and business processes
Assist with preparation and conduct of system training
Assist with development of DPAS catalogue and cataloging of assets
Assist with establishment of DPAS allowances
Assist with asset valuation
Develop and/or assist with other briefs as required
Assist with other FIAR support activities as required
Maintain a professional working relationship with US Government personnel, FIAR support team members and other support contractors
Interface with government representatives on behalf of the prime contractor maintaining professional, open communication with all government representatives

Specific Requirements:
United States citizenship
Knowledge of USMC culture and organization
Proficiency using MS office products and Adobe publishing software
Self-motivated, creative, willing to work as a member of a team, organized and able to manage individual and team schedules
Ability to work in a dynamic environment and non-standard hours when needed

Education and
Experience:
Twelve (12) years of military experience in supply or field involving audit preparation/execution
Three (3) years of experience in property accountability. Experienced with DPAS.

Clearance: Secret DesiredEstimated Salary: $20 to $28 per hour based on qualifications.
