BACKGROUND
The contractor shall perform services to include inspecting and dispatching of vehicles for the Motor Transportation Shop, Facilities Department, located in MCB Hawaii, Kaneohe Bay.
Please note that this is a contingent position based on contract award and funding from the customer

DUTIES
Work shall be limited to the Motor Transportation Shop, wherein the dispatcher shall inspect vehicles upon issue and return.
The dispatcher shall review the outgoing dispatch discrepancy list and provide the supervisor and/or his designee with the pertinent information, follow through on accident reporting, and provide customer/user information. Based on requests, the dispatcher will reserve vehicles in the web based Fleet
Anywhere system, dispatch, and return vehicles all within this system.
The dispatcher shall provide monthly Garrison Mobile Equipment (GME) mileage reports from the assigned vehicle units, as well as the daily usage vehicle pool to the Fleet Manager via both hard copy and in the Fleet Anywhere system for billing purposes.
SKILLS AND KNOWLEDGE REQUIRED
a. Strong communications skills, including the ability to interact efficiently and professionally with
Marine Corps Officers, Senior Non-Commissioned Officers, and Civilian Employees
b. The contractor shall be knowledgeable of web based dispatching and email systems to meet the
operational and logistical needs of MCB Hawaii; Word and Excel programs, MS Office Products, Fleet
Anywhere System
c. Desired 1 year experience or knowledge of dispatching and inspection

WORK HOURS AND SCHEDULE
Duty hours are between the hours of 0700-1530 Monday through Friday excluding federal holidays.
